Police suspect that Marlon Moreira Costa committed suicide after murdering the young woman in the house where she lived, in Massachusetts
Marlborough police in the US state of Massachusetts, are investigating the death of Kethlen Paula Alves Tavares, aged 28, and her boyfriend, Marlon Moreira Costa, aged 29, both Brazilians.
The Middlesex County District Attorney released a statement stating that the case is being treated as a murder-suicide.
Preliminary investigations show that Costa went to Kethlen's address on Wednesday (29), broke into the house through a window, made threats and then shot her. After committing the crime, he allegedly killed himself.
The investigation is ongoing and is being conducted by state and Marlborough police.
Kethlen was from the city of Governador Valadares (MG) and lived in a rented room.
